Poet’s emphasis Essay Although poem A contain a thematic unity but it is manifested that poet’s emphasis remained on creating a homogeneous lyrical whole instead of developing the theme in an elaborative way and in an elevated poetical manner. There is weak sentimentality that pervades the whole poem. The most important defect of the poem is that it takes into account a wide range of human roles in life and tried to culminate this human experience into the ultimate reality of death. In this attempt, poet fails to create a unifocal and forceful impact about death in the mind of the reader. Although the main though is not traditional or orthodox but poet does not present any philosophical facets, psychological impact or any other unique reflection about death. Furthermore, he is unable to manifest a great skill in making use of the arts and artifices of verse. So poem is an abject failure. Poet is unable to enjoy the visual delight of death or suffer from it pain and terror. He only changes from one role to another role with the sad demise of the first. He is of the view that by reproduction and regeneration, one can produce a replica of his own self, so death can not destroy him. He can conquer the death and destruction. Hence these off-spring(s) will make â€Å"thee living†. So poet has pitched the though at a higher level as compared with other poet and have utilized his language skills to create an effective expression to convey that style. Poet does not show any mystery or fascination about death. If death results in despair and terror, it also brings rest and peace. Poet negates both these conventional concept and gives a new idea that death does not terminate life if one wishes to. He can reproduce siblings like him and this is a continuation of his life. There is not magical abstraction in the poem and everything is presented and represented in clear manner with the help of concrete imagery.

Great Bear Rainforest The controversy over logging, and more specifically clearcutting, is not a new issue in America. Ever since the 1920's and 1930's, when this nation started to become conscious of conservation, citizens have weighed the consequences of logging. Critics have questioned whether the increase in jobs, tax dollars, and economic growth was worth the destruction of forest lands. Regardless of what they believe today, the logging industry had become so efficient that by the late 1980's nearly 100,000 acres of federal land had been clearcut since the industry began. Logging technology has advanced rapidly in terms of speed, to meet the increasing demands for lumber, paper, and other products derived from trees. This in turn has greatly impacted the environment by severely degrading watersheds, leading to increased soil erosion, the diminution in the quality of drinking water, and the decline of fish stocks, among many other consequences. In this essay I will examine the progression of logging equipment throughout the 19th and 20th centuries and discuss how these changes in technology have not only changed the relationship of those who work in the industry, but also haw this has changed the wider relationship of society and nature. Before starting my research I thought there had been a progressive increase in the amount of land that had been clearcut. My reasoning for this was that logging machinery at the end of the 19th century was primitive compared to that of more recent times. As a result, it would have been difficult to compete with the output of today's industry. However, in the late 19th century there was a boom in the logging industry and thousands of acres of land across the nation were forested. Hist... ...the improvement in machinery. However, if they were just based on technological improvements, there would not be a continual rise and fall in the logging industry. These periods of increased logging have drastic affects on the environment, today, just like one hundred years ago. More importantly, the growth in technology has led to the reduction of workers. In my opinion, it seems that now we are dealing with the big capitalist pull. Individual companies are buying these forests just to log. For the most part, they are the ones that are reaping the benefits, while destroying habitats for people and animals alike. Persuasive Essay: Stereotypes exist because they are grounded in truth The term stereotype has been derived from the Greek words â€Å"stereos† and â€Å"typos† meaning solid and impression respectively. Hence stereotype means â€Å"solid impression† (Henry George). Nowadays this term refers to generalizations or assumptions that people make about the characteristics of all members of a group based on an image of what people in that group are like. For example, black people are considered stronger than white people, Americans are considered friendly, tolerant but arrogant. Clearly these are assumptions and generalizations which are not applicable to everyone. If we just assume what a person is like and don’t judge them individually we are likely to make errors in estimating their characters (Stereotypes). There has been a lot of debate on this topic that stereotypes exist because they are grounded in truth. Although supporters of this view base their argument on the inherent nature of the people and how these stereotypes didn’t just come out of nowhere they fail to take into account the other side. Media, educational institutes and science can show why such stereotypes exist and that they are not based on truth. One of the dominant reasons of majority’s belief in stereotypes is the existence of an influential media that shapes the perceptions of this globally connected world. It indoctrinates the dominant views of the society into the minds of people. An example would be the Muslims image as seen in the west today. This stereotype regarding this that all Muslims are terrorists became prevalent in the west after the 9/11 incident and the media is directly responsible for this. After this incident a number of movies have been made which portrayed Muslims as terrorists and considering the amount of people who watch these movies, it becomes evident that such a stereotype is likely to be engrained in their minds. Besides, there are several other stereotypes promoted by media which have plagued the human society. Cartoon movies thoroughly enjoyed by children are full of stereotypes. In this context, I can mention that I have done my internship with Rara communication, where I have been appointed as a sales support representative on a part-time basis. My Expectations In order to highlight my expectations regarding this internship, I can mention that my prime intention was to learn and get an idea about the realistic organization, where several activities usually performed with an aim of enhancing the performance of the organization. Moreover, through the help of this internship, I wanted to learn how telecommunication organizations usually deal with their clients regarding international calling cards. Additionally, I also wanted to learn and gather experience how organizations usually conduct their business operations during the modern era. In addition, it can be also stated that I also wanted gather experience how organizations usually execute their predetermine plan during the implementation of business operations for archiving desired goal. Apart from this, I also have done several activities within the organization, which has helped me to gather wide range experience and learn ample amount of concepts regarding the regular basis functions of Raza telecommunication. My daily task and activities are depicted below for better understanding: Searching and gathering contacts of potential customers from database Contact existing customers for solving their issues and queries Organizing and editing regular schedule and document Replying to the existing clients through mail and mailers Keep record of the sales team performance Keep record of the daily basis expenses of the sales team members Marketing and Communication. During the internship, I have realized that marketing and communication is one of the most essential aspects for a telecommunication based organization during the implementation or execution of business operations. In this regard, I have prepared few marketing plan (promotional offer) based on the requirement of the target market. In this regard, I have used websites, blogs and social networking sites for promoting the sales offer in more effective manner. Moreover, I have also communicated with the clients for meeting the needs and expectations of the existing customers. Based on these tasks and activities, I have realized that marketing communication is highly essential aspects for telecommunication based organization (Spotts and Weinberger 2010). Analyzing and Researching. Moreover, during my internship when I have deal with the issues and queries of the customers, at that point of time, I realized that customers have higher expectations from the organizational end. In this regard, with an aim of meeting those expectations I have analyze and research on the profile of the consumers and based on their financial capability, I have suggested solutions for the customers. In this regard, I can mention that I have learned about the importance of analyzing and research on the customers profile from my classroom instruction, but during the internship I realized how it is important and how it plays an imperative role during the implementation of business operations (Liu 2012). Public Relations. At the same time, I also have been responsible for maintain the public relations of the organization. In this regard, I can state that as I wanted learn about public relations since, when I have taken admission in my university. However, during the conduction my internship I have actually experienced how import is maintaining public relations within an organization. In this context, I can mention that with an intention of fulfilling my job role, I have met with the customers, relied on their mail and also conducted meeting for ensuring public relations. Simultaneously, I also have send mailer and mail to the customers regarding any declaration and others essential aspects (Meng 2013). Accounting and Finance. During the internship with an aim of fulfilling cash control requirements, I have paid higher attention towards accounting and finance associated aspects of the organization. Through focusing towards accounting and finance, I have understood how cost and cash control is importance for an organization for implementation of business operations. Recommendations Though I successfully completed my classroom course in MBA with specialization of management information system, my communication skills had yet not been developed. Once I entered in internship course, I realized that my working experiences as a supporting sales team on part time basis in the Raza communications has helped me to developed my interpersonal skills and communications more emphatically. Also, I expected to develop my leadership qualities initially while dealing classroom interactions and theoretical knowledge development skills which I leant at my internship. Reflection In order to highlight my viewpoint I can stated that I have become aware of the process of planning and organizing sales strategy.
